Cheyenne Prairie Generating Station Water Demand & Reclaimed Water Planning
This City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities plan documents reclaimed-water planning for the existing Cheyenne Prairie Generating Station, including an initial average demand of 65,000 gallons per day and an ultimate projected average of 900,000 gallons per day.
This does not predict Horse Creek water use, but it demonstrates that another Cheyenne gas plant was planned around reclaimed wastewater and substantial water demand. Horse Creek’s actual water source and consumption should therefore be disclosed and compared with alternatives.
