This community-created aerial map identifies 792 residences within seven miles of the conceptual Horse Creek generation site, displayed in one-mile distance rings. It also shows a hypothetical generation structure, generation area and battery-storage area.

The map helps show that the proposed site is surrounded by multiple residential areas rather than being isolated from homes. Being within seven miles does not mean every residence will experience an impact, and the generation and battery locations shown are conceptual rather than a disclosed Black Hills Energy site plan.
